The Vermont Secretary of State’s office will be mailing General Election ballots to all active registered voters in the state. On September 1, they will be exporting voter data from the statewide voter checklist for the mailing.
Before August 31st:
Voters should go to their My Voter Page (https://vote.vermont.gov) to confirm or update their current mailing address to ensure receipt of the General Election ballot.
If you will be temporarily away and would like to have this ballot mailed to a different address, please submit an absentee ballot request at https://vote.vermont.gov or by calling your City or Town Clerk. Information about city or town clerks can be found here: https://sos.vermont.gov/elections/town-clerks. Ballots CANNOT be forwarded by the USPS.
Not registered to vote? You can register online: https://vote.vermont.gov. You can also register in person at your City or Town Clerk’s office during business hours or at your polling place on Election Day.
Ballots will be mailed no later than October 1. If you do not receive your ballot by October 8, please contact your City or Town Clerk.
