VOTE ON MARCH 3RD
The League of Women Voters encourages every Vermonter to vote on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
Why?
- Less than a quarter of registered voters vote on Town Meeting Day – if you don’t vote, decisions for everyone in your town are made by less than one-quarter of the electorate!
- When you vote in local elections, your voice impacts your school district, city government members responsible for local regulations, infrastructure, roads, community services, and taxes. These decisions often affect your life more than what happens in national elections!
- Your vote determines school board members who set policies that determine what is taught, teacher salaries, and assessments and educational goals for children in your community.
Where to get information to vote? Go to https://vote.vermont.gov/public/dashboard.
YOUR VOTE IS YOUR VOICE – MAKE SURE IT IS HEARD.
