The League of Women Voters of Vermont is sponsoring a State Senate Candidate
Forum for Bennington candidates. Citizens will meet Democratic incumbents Seth
Bongartz and Robert Plunkett, as well as challengers Lawrence Whitmire (R) and Josh
Williams (R) and hear their views on education, housing scarcity and affordability, health
care, property taxes, and more. Free and open to the public.
The League of Women Voters regularly sponsors candidate forums as part of its
mission of encouraging informed and active participation in government.
