National Voter Registration Day

National Voter Registration Day

National Voter Registration Day (NVRD), first celebrated in 2012, is recognized across the United States as a nonpartisan, civic holiday.

On September 20, 2022, organizations including the League of Women Voters of Vermont will be participating in a coordinated effort to get eligible citizens registered to vote.

NVRD, celebrated the fourth Tuesday in September, uses a single-day event to spread word about the importance of registering to vote with help from volunteers, organizations, and businesses.
