Human Trafficking

Amending the US Constitution

For two years, the National League of Women Voters has conducted studies of Money in Politics and Amending the Constitution by Convention. A public discussion of the former was held in November, and can be seen here: <http://vp.telvue.com/preview?id=T01221&video=255051>.

Later, study committee member Ann Luther, LWV-Maine, discussed the pros and cons of amending the Constitution by convention. The Constitution provides for this, but gives no guidelines, and there has been no such convention since the first one.
