RSVP https://bit.ly/LWVVTVoterSuppression \nThe League of Women Voters of Vermont\, in partnership with Kellogg-Hubbard Library\, presents the 2025-26 Hertz/Rader Lecture Series\, Voting Rights and Access to the Ballot.  \n \nLiz Tentarelli\, President of the League of Women Voters in New Hampshire (NH) since 2013\, will review common voter suppression methods\, as exemplified by recent NH legislation that tightens voter identification requirements\, including proof of citizenship for new voters. \nLast year\, LWVNH\, LWVUS\, and New Hampshire voters filed a federal lawsuit against Steve Kramer\, Lingo Telecom\, LLC\, and Life Corporation for voter intimidation\, coercion\, and deception ahead of the 2024 New Hampshire presidential primary. The lawsuit claimed defendants used illegal AI-generated robocalls to discourage voters from participating in the primary and sought a court order requiring the defendants to cease engaging in illegal\, dishonest\, and deceptive tactics nationwide.
