SUMMARY:Update on S.32\, the bill to establish Ranked Choice Voting in Vermont (online meeting)
DESCRIPTION:Betty Keller\, League of Women Voters\, provides an update on S. 32\, a bill aiming to implement Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) in Presidential Primaries in Vermont. This is your chance to learn more about ranked choice voting\, a voting reform method that could be the future of how we vote in Vermont. \n  \nS.32 passed the Vermont Senate and is now in the House. The bill was amended to allow municipalities to choose RCV for some local elections if desired. It also created a summer study committee to develop policies for implementing RCV for the presidential primaries and assessing the possibility of starting RCV in 2026 for some statewide elections. \n  \nBetty will explain where in the process the bill is; what changes have been made; and what is expected next.  Register online at https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZAqd-ytrDorHtTT5f5mnPLxOxeyZMpOuhZY
