DESCRIPTION:December 14 @ 5:30 pm EST\nLWVVT SPECIAL CONVENTION\nThursday\, December 14 | 5:30 pm | Zoom\n\nLeague members will ratify the position developed by the Health Care Privatization Study Committee and adopted by the Board of Directors on November 14\, 2023. \n\n\nAt the June 2023 state convention\, members voted to conduct a study to determine if we believe health care should be included as a public good. The Study Committee researched the question of “what is a public good?” and presented results to membership at a consensus meeting on November 9.\n\nThis study will be used to propose a national concurrence to the 2024 LWVUS Convention and provide other League states with a well-researched position with which they may concur.
