DESCRIPTION:Is Vermont’s health care system serving you and your family well? Are you able to receive and afford the care you need? What kinds of medical care do you want to see more of in your community? What changes to the health care system would benefit our state? \nThe Green Mountain Care Board is holding listening sessions to hear about your experiences with health care. A team of health care experts will facilitate community conversations across the state. This is an important opportunity to share your personal and family experiences with health care and to make recommendations improving the health care system. Member Event \nRegistration: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZclce6qrjwpGdFFoZ64nA7faGjqTMl9x-So \nAt the state convention in June\, members voted to conduct a study to determine if health care should be included as a public good to be provided by the public sector.  Members of the Health Care Privatization Study Committee studied the issue and will present their findings at the Consensus Meeting. Member responses to discussion questions will be the foundation of a new state advocacy position which will be voted at a Special Convention in December. Read the October Green Mountain Citizen for more information. While everyone is welcome to listen\, only members can participate in the discussion.
